About me

 

I am a freelance medical writer and research communications specialist. A biologist in training, I have attained a Ph.D. in vascular biology and circulation diseases (Dr. rer. nat.) at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich, Germany. As postdoctoral student at the National Cancer Institute (NCI/NIH, Bethesda, USA) I have become an expert in basic cancer research. Since 2005, I have been writing regulatory documents, journal articles and marketing material for various pharmaceutical companies. I am a member of the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA).

I have worked in the following areas: drug pharmacokinetics, neuropathic pain, back pain, Parkinson's disease, oncology, diabetes, epilepsy, anti-inflammatory, depression; cell and molecular biology: cancer and cardiovascular research.

I also enjoy to learn and master new subjects.
